The International airport is only 45 km from the Lodge. Karivo offers transfers to and from Windhoek and the airport – there’s no need to hire a vehicle.

Our advice:

Equipment: Binoculars, camera, additional film material, good walking shoes, hat or cap, suntan lotion. The months from May until August can be cold, so jackets or sweaters may be necessary. Lighter clothing is suggested for the day.

Telecommunication:

Telephone, Telefax and E-mail are available. Cellular/Mobile phones have reception on the farm.

Insurance:

We recommend a travel insurance that covers illness, accidents and loss of luggage. We can not be held liable for any possible loss, injuries, damages and accidents.
